Who:
Swimmers - Open Water enthusiasts, triathletes and those with enough experience to swim .5 miles in an Open Water environment.

What to Bring:
If you have an OWS Swim Buoy (https://trigearlab.com/best-swim-buoy/) bring it for visibility and safety, goggles, swimwear (Wetsuit, rash guards, etc.). Bring a pull buoy if you'd like - safety in OWS is our first concern.
July 15 Group Swim Report:
Gustavo, Shane, Louise and Martin were supported by Roxie in an inflatable kayak. The waters were warm, very very comfortable. The entry was a bit murky and the waterline appears to be receding a bit. We had a great few moments to catch up on those that took on the Bear Lake Monster swim and the challenges that disrupted and challenged ALL who swam and supported - amazing that many finished and even got as far as they did - it was a ROUGH and challenging day - Dangerous for many. Back to our swim today, while in the water, there was a lot of recreational and ski boat traffic which provided some changing water conditions, but it was a great simulation for variable conditions. Overall it was a solid and great day to swim. The waters were relatively calm. It was safe. It was very refreshing. What a great group, hopefully, many more to come throughout this season. Cheers!
July 08 Group Swim Report:
FYI, Yesterday's swim was warm and comfortable despite the 'fall-like' outdoor temps. I wore a wetsuit and was very comfortable. Someone wore a half suit and 3 or 4 folks just swam with typical lap pool wear. Folks are invited to come and get an OWS swim session in and we hope you bring your enthusiasm, your courage and willingness to FOCUS on things that will help you and others GROW! Cheers!
Gustavo, hope you don't mind, I forgot that I created this Strava group, too - (https://www.strava.com/clubs/cvmser). Cheers!
